Progicar equips the Vauban group's used-vehicle reconditioning center with its Remarket solution

Progicar, publisher of software solutions dedicated to automotive professionals, is supporting Groupe Vauban in the roll-out of its new used vehicle reconditioning center, Vauban Remarket, by supplying its Progicar Remarket solution. This collaboration marks a new stage in the digitalization and industrial structuring of the used-vehicle activities of the group, based in the north-west of the Paris region.

A structuring project for the Group Vauban

As part of its expansion, Groupe Vauban wanted to centralize its reconditioning activity around a single site, capable of handling up to 5,000 vehicles a year. Progicar supported the group right from the design phase, providing its expertise in flow organization, workflow structuring and the choice of operational tools.

The center relies on a complete infrastructure, integrating all stages of the reconditioning process: diagnostics, bodywork, paintwork, preparation, storage and circulation of vehicles. Progicar Remarket has been operational since the center opened last September.

A software solution designed for performance

Faced with the ambitions of this new center, Groupe Vauban had precise application requirements. It needed a solution capable of handling a high volume of vehicles, while ensuring rigorous control of lead time, a key performance indicator for dealerships. The group also attached great importance to :

- Visibility for in-house dealerships, so that each dealership can track vehicles throughout the reconditioning process and speed up quotation exchanges.

- Smooth management of partner subcontractors, such as technical inspection or dent removal service providers, involved in the process.

- The management of VO movements, which has been the subject of specific reflection since part of the stockyard is located 150-200 meters from the center, with less direct access than for the parking lot. A 200-space parking lot has been created on the site to facilitate optimized transport.

Expertise for a successful project

In addition to meeting the functional requirements identified, Progicar Remarket stood out for its ability to structure an industrial organization under construction, while providing an immediately operational solution. Designed for high-volume environments, the solution structures repackaging, optimizes flows and guarantees overall consistency in operations management.

It offers a user experience differentiated by profile: center, dealerships, subcontractors... each has dedicated access, offering real-time visibility, traceability and faster exchanges. This segmented architecture contributes directly to the center's efficiency and responsiveness.

Another strategic asset: the development of a specific jockey module, tailor-made for the site's atypical configuration, illustrates Progicar's ability to adapt to the constraints of the field. This project also testifies to the quality of Progicar's support, with teams close at hand, attentive to needs and involved right from the design phase.

A forward-looking partnership

Thanks to this integration, Groupe Vauban now has an agile, digitalized industrial tool, enabling it to ensure consistent quality of service, better control of costs and deadlines, and enhanced visibility for both internal and external customers.
